Endangered Species Protected
World Wildlife Fund works in over 100 countries to protect habitat and stop illegal wildlife trade. We also undertake critical research to develop new conservation strategies. WWF provides emergency grants to governments, grass-roots groups, and conservation field staff to help them protect threatened wildlife. TRAFFIC, which is a trade monitoring program, protects endangered species by securing international trade control commitments.
WWF uses the endangered species standards of the International Union for the Conservation of Nature and Natural Resources (IUCN).
